Personal Closed Captioning with GalaPro

GalaPro is an app that provides closed captions directly to your phone or tablet.

Personal closed captioning is available for select performances in the Thelma Gaylord Performing Arts Theatre through GalaPro.

Signing Up for an Account

Once the app is installed, select 'Get Started Now.'

1. Choose whether to allow the notification. Notifications are not necessary for closed caption performances at the Civic Center.
2. Enter your email address
3. Create a password
4. Check 'I accept the GalaPro terms of service and privacy settings
5. Tap 'Create account

After your account has been created, you will be redirected to select your show.

Getting Started

GalaPro provides step-by-step instructions for using closed captioning at your performance.

• If you're having trouble finding events, make sure 'Oklahoma City' is selected as your event location by tapping located at the top left corner of the app.
• Select your performance by tapping the performance card or show name.
• Multiple services may be available, however, you can only select 1 service at a time.
• When you're ready, tap the blue 'play' button at the bottom of the screen and follow the instructions provided.
• Additional services, such as translations, may be available for additional fees
