Mobility Device Policy
Mobility aids that cannot be stored safely within the patron’s seating area or for those patrons who transfer to a theatre seat will be stored outside the theatre as close as possible to the patron’s seat by the nearest usher. At intermission, ushers will make every effort to check in with patrons who may need their devices. At the conclusion of the performances, ushers will return the mobility aids to the patrons once the aisles have cleared.
Courtesy Wheelchairs
The Rose State Performing Arts Center has a limited number of courtesy wheelchairs available to patrons on a first-come, first-served basis. Patrons must have a companion assist in maneuvering the wheelchair around the venue. Patrons should inquire at the event office in the main lobby.
For Patrons with Other Accessibility Needs
Service Animal Policy
Service animals are permitted wherever people are allowed, unless the animal poses a direct threat to the health and safety of others, creates a fundamental alteration (such as interfering with the performance or patron experience), is not housebroken, or is not under the control of the person with the disability, as determined by management.
A service animal must be a dog that is trained to perform a task for the benefit of an individual with a disability. Under limited circumstances, a miniature horse may be permitted as a service animal. Patrons who have questions about ADA definitions or requirements should visit ada.gov.
Emotional support animals, comfort animals, therapy animals, and pets are not permitted.

A limited number of booster seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis for performances at the Rose State Performing Arts Center. Booster seats may be checked out at the event office in the main lobby.
